The audio-visual center offers an exciting and unique story in 7 languages ​​about the history of the Bulgarian lands from 7,500 years ago. The center recreates the wooden fortification "Ongle", which Khan Asparuh built, crossing south of the Danube to annex these lands to the Bulgarian state. The territories of the Bulgarian state are one of the most contested in the world, with a very ancient and exciting history.
Ongala Tourist Center is the only audio-visual center of its kind in Bulgaria, where visitors without a guide, guided by sound and picture, go from hall to hall to learn more about the periods of rise and fall in the history of the Bulgarian land and country. During the exciting experience you will receive answers to important and curious questions such as: How ancient are the most famous civilizations? What is the most ancient civilization, when and where was it discovered? What year is it now according to the old calendar? When and where was the biblical flood? When and from which lands did the Bulgarians come? How many nations write in the Bulgarian alphabet? Why don't kings marry out of love? and many others. In addition, you will be able to see samples of protective clothing and weapons of the Thracians and the ancient Bulgarians. With them you can take free photos and videos. A replica of the remains of a chapel with information about the first canonized Bulgarian saint - Khan Terven and the heavenly patrons of Europe and Bulgaria - was built in the audio-visual center "Ongala".
