Church of St. St. Cyril and Methodius, the village of Kosti

Overview

The church of St. St. Cyril and Methodius is located in the village of Kosti, Tsarevo municipality.
It is one of the largest and most beautiful village churches in the Strandzha Mountains.
The temple was built in the 19th century, after which - during the Transfiguration Uprising, it was destroyed. In 1909 it was rebuilt and consecrated.
The church of St. St. Cyril and Methodius to this day preserves icons from the 14th-17th centuries, which have a high artistic value.
