Overview

The Church of the Assumption in the village of Stefan Kradjovo was built in 1763 and has indisputable architectural, artistic and historical value / it was built during the Bulgarian Renaissance /. There was a Bulgarian cell school attached to the church, only in this Strandzha region, proof that the church was a spiritual and educational center. A chandelier delivered from Jerusalem in the 19th century is kept here. The church bell dates from 1907 and is hung on a mulberry tree.

According to Article 12, paragraph 1, item "a" of the Law on Cultural Monuments and Museums, the Church of the Assumption has the status of an ARCHITECTURAL AND ARTISTIC MONUMENT OF CULTURE.

In 2010 a bell tower was built.
