Beer Museum
Overview
The only beer museum in Bulgaria awaits its visitors with wide open doors and full mugs.
The museum of Zagorka Brewery has a variety of authentic exhibits tracing the history of the production of the famous beer. Among the exhibits are the personal belongings of the first founder of the brewery in Stara Zagora - Dr. Konstantin Kozhuharov. The museum collection also has the only personal belongings of the first brewery in the country (the first licensed beer producer in Bulgaria). Visitors can see among the exhibits a beer bottle from 1902, when the brewery existed; more than 15 types of different cups used over the years; preserved ken with the first Bulgarian non-alcoholic beer "Zagorka Vita", intended for export to Arab countries, as well as many interesting documents and photos.
The beer museum also includes a special visit to the tasting room, where beer lovers can try Zagorka beer.
