Hunting residence Kormisosh

Overview

Hunting residence "Kormisosh" is located in the town of Lucky and occupies a large area (41 930 ha) in the Western Rhodopes. Kormisosh is located 210 km from Sofia and 50 km from Plovdiv. The area is dominated by coniferous forests, with the most common tree species being white pine, spruce, beech and fir. The area is extremely rich in animal species: bear, red deer, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar, mouflon, chamois, capercaillie, wolf, wild cat, fox and squirrel. On the territory of "Kormisosh" is part of the huge reserve "Chervenata stena" /Red Wall/. Other natural landmarks near the reserve are the Gumburtiata waterfall and the Shapran Dupka rock bridge.

The station has 3 hunting lodges, 1 hunting residence, as well as 11 hunting lodges, which are scattered throughout the farm. In addition to hunting, the farm offers fishing, horseback riding, photo hunting, excursions to historical sites, nature reserves and natural landmarks.
