Overview

Horse base Trigrad "Avitohol - Oblaka" is located in the Rhodopean village of Trigrad, at 1220 m above sea level. The village of Trigrad is located 25 km from the town of Devin, 110 km from Plovdiv and 230 km from Sofia. It is easy to find by following the picturesque road to the village of Trigrad, which winds in serpentines along the river Trigradska. After passing through the majestic Trigrad Gorge and the Devil's Throat Cave, continue along the asphalt road in the direction of the village of Trigrad. The horse base is located 2 km from the village to the southeast, on the road to the village of Kesten.

Hourly riding and instructor training are available for a fee.

Riders do not need to have experience, only desire, a little courage and love for animals.

Necessary equipment: Long pants and shoes without pronounced heel. Backpacks are forbidden! Electricity (riding helmet) and safety vest are provided on site.

Minimum age for riding in the arena: 6 years.

Minimum age for walking outside the arena: 7 years.

The horse base is part of the attractions offered by the Arkan Khan Hotel - a place with a strong attitude towards the Bulgarian way of life and culture. The hotel is located in the beautiful nature of the village of Trigrad, near the river, and the surrounding meadows offer all kinds of outdoor activities, picnics and bonfires. There is also a hall for organizing creative activities.
