Malyovitsa hut
Overview
Malyovitsa hut is a tourist hut in Northwestern Rila, near Malyovitsa peak. It is located at 1960 m above sea level. in the valley of the river Malyovitsa. Near the hut there is a ski slope with a ski lift. The area offers good opportunities for mountaineering. The hut is a point on the European route "E-4".
The complex has 125 seats in 2 massive buildings and 7 bungalows. The old building is two-storey, with two rooms, outdoor toilets and a total of 34 seats. The new building is also two-storey, with 18 rooms, internal toilets and bathrooms on the floors, a total of 77 seats. The bungalows are double without toilets.
The hut was built in 1934 as a high-altitude shelter "Malyovitsa" by the Pernik tourist association "Golo Bardo". The shelter is designed for 25 people, but if necessary can accommodate up to 40 people.
