The geyser-fountain - Sapareva Banya
Overview
"Geyser - fountain" in the town of Sapareva Banya erupted for the first time in 1957 during drilling between the mountain and the valley during hydrological studies at a depth of 73 m. Mineral water springs naturally at a height of 18 m. The temperature at its source is 103 °, which makes it the hottest in Continental Europe, a few degrees higher than the Italian Sofioni and Giurgiatela.
