Overview

The Festival and Congress Center - Varna was opened in 1986. Since then, it has been home to rich and diverse arts and culture events. In addition, numerous congresses, international conferences, scientific meetings, seminars are held. Various companies celebrate their annual holidays.

Located in the very centre of the city, right in front of the main entrance of the Sea Garden and just meters away from the beach, the complex is a major cultural centre, attracting cultural and business events. The imposing and elegant look of the building is one of the architectural symbols of Varna.

The Festival and Congress Centre – Varna is a member of international convention organisations such as EFCT, AIPC, and of the only pan-European cinema chain – EUROPA CINEMAS.

Over 2000 movie screenings take place every year, concerts, theatre performances, literature evenings, art exhibitions, conferences, presentations, celebrations, cocktails and receptions. Festival and Congress Center is a co-organizer of more than 10 annual festivals, and in 1993 initiated the organization of the International Film Festival "Love Is Folly".
