Black monument
Overview
This is the inscription that will greet you shortly after entering the town of Apriltsi. Written on a monument named "Black Monument". It was built in 1885 by Mathieu Radil - a participant in the uprising, who distinguished himself as a good marksman in the battle of May 7. He recalls the scale of the battles on May 4, 7 and 10.
